Onur is a Turkish dancer originally from Istanbul. She started dancing at an early age of 4 with classical ballet training. In 1998 she was accepted into the Modern Dance Program in the School of Art and Design in Istanbul's Yildiz Technical University. While earning her Bachelor's degree she had the chance to work with both Turkish and international pioneering dance artists and choreographers such as Geyvan McMillen, Zeynep Tanbay, Kaya Ilhan, Ugur Seyrek, Oktay Keresteci, Beyhan Murphy, Prof. Nasuh Barin, Douglas Dunn, Grazia Dunn, Ismael Ivo, Nicole Caccivio, Helen Omand, Lutz Forster, Dominique Mercy, Paul Clayden, Juan D.K. Gariaesnaola, Gary Galbraith, Karen Potter, Tetsuro Fukuhara, Paul Ibey, Frey Faust, David Dorfman, Lisa Race, Peter Kalivas, Suzanne Linke, David Zambrano, Bruce Taylor, Joe Alegado, Milton Myers, Mathew Hawkins and Hilke Diemer.

In addition to her academic studies she attended national and international festivals as a dancer and a choreographer around the Europe. Between the years 2002 and 2004 she was dancing at Istanbul State Theatre and she was the stage manager of Cemal Resit Rey Dance Theatre Company also assistant to well known Turkish modern dance choreographer Geyvan McMillen. In 2004 she moved to the USA and received a M.F.A degree from the University of California, Irvine with an emphasis in dance and technology. She has had the privilege of working with Loretta Livingston, Lisa Naugle, Leslie Peck, Eloy Barragan, Israel (El) Gabriel, Gerri Houlihan, Donna Faye Burchfield, legend American dance artist Donald McKayle. She has had the good fortune to be able to continue her dance relationship with Los Angeles-based American choreographer Loretta Livingston, dancing in the extended cast of her 2005 site-specific choreography in Los Angeles," June Moon (Dressed in White)", as well as being a performer in her video project "Persuasion". She is currently continuing on teaching and completing the "Core Dynamics" Pilates Teacher Training Certification Program and teaches Pilates as a free-lance guest instructor at Roswell Dance Theatre and at the "Body Awareness" pilates studio as an apprentice instructor. She is also the co-director of "Dance Camera Istanbul" Festival. Onur is very happy to be a part of Full Radius Dance.
