Full Radius Dance has ongoing openings for unpaid apprentice company members for dancers who exhibit the drive, potential, and proper attitude for mentored training. Apprenticeships are open to dancers with and without physical disabilities, age 18 and up. This opportunity requires being resident or relocating to within commuting range of our Atlanta studio for the duration of the apprenticeship. We do not offer stipends or relocation funding. We can offer assistance with visas for international applicants and documentation for grant recipients or internships.
Apprentices attend rehearsal and class with the company and receive training in the technique and repertory of Full Radius Dance. Apprentices may also be utilized in performances as need and opportunity arise, and performances are financially compensated. Apprenticeships typically last from six months to two years; apprentices may be invited to join the professional company at the end of their contract, but placement is not guaranteed.
For persons with disabilities: Full Radius Dance recognizes that dance training opportunities for persons with physical disabilities are extremely limited. Therefore, for dancers with disabilities, no previous training is required; however, applicants are encouraged to pursue movement classes or athletic training in preparation. Successful applicants will demonstrate good body awareness and if used, control of any assistive devices. Find out more.

Get in touch if you want to know more about regular life in the company. By request, you may audition simultaneously for the professional company and for the apprenticeship.
